How stunning are these rain boots?!  Jessica Swift, an American artist, not only illustrated the designs for these boots but she made them come with a secret message inside so that you can go forth into the rain with confidence!  I would love to jump in puddles in these, wouldn’t you?

I have a thing for Houndstooth pattern, which is probably why I love this woolen backpack so much!  Australian maker, Bagy Bag, has a wonderful collection of high-quality, well-made bags.  This one in particular makes me think of a European schoolgirl.  What would you carry around in your Houndstooth backpack?

French embroidery brooch

Posted by on Oct 17, 2011 in Accessories | 1 comment

Since I just released a new line of embroidery, I’ve had sewing on my mind.  A stroke of luck found me these adorable brooches by Sushipot made from snippets of an antique book of French embroidery pattern designs.  How cool is that?  I love the simplicity of the colors juxtaposed with the complexity of the patterns.  I don’t think I’ll ever be able to sew as lovely as the French but I could wear the patterns stylishly!

Lady Walking Her Dog Key Chain by Rainbow Lollies

I”m notorious for losing my keys but if I had one of these key rings, perhaps I could break that habit (and save my boyfriend from eye-roll strain).  Of course I wouldn’t look nearly as stylish as this lady while walking down the street but I could try.  The Aussie crafter Rainbow Lollies creates a lot of felted goodies in her shop.
